Nigel has been a professional actor for 38 years, he played one pf the 'Micheluzzi' brothers in Federico Fellini's film 'The Voice of The Moon' and also created the roles of 'Abb' in David Rudkin's 'The Triumph of Death' and 'The Journeyman' in Peter Hilton's translation of 'Woyzeck'.


Other theatre credits include seasons at Birmingham, Coventry and Sheffield. He was cast in two plays directed by Michael Boys, former artistic director of the Royal Shakespeare Company.


Theatre roles include 'Shylock' in 'The Merchant of Venice', 'Canon Chasuble' in 'The Importance of Being Ernest', 'Billy Bones' and 'Capt. Smollett' in 'Treasure Island', the artist 'Orazio Gentileschi' in 'Taliswoman' and 'Col. Pickering' in 'Pygmalion'.


His Tv work includes 'Doctors', 'Santa' in the BBC's Christmas comedy drama 'Lapland' and a cameo role as a vagrant in 'The Bill' which was featured in a BAFTA Awards programme.
